Tips on how to put in contacts? i would like to get them soon. also how much are they and lense crafters about?

I have worn glasses since i can remember and i would like to get contacts before the school year i have tried before but it never stayed in or i couldnt get it in. i have a stigmatism and i am 17. i wanna try again also i might need to pay for them myself. just want plain contacts no color. any advice on how to put them in and if i will be able to wear them all day for school in about 2 months and around how much they will cost at lens crafters and vision world? thanks.
