I'm looking for an old fairy tale book from the 1970's -1980's?

When I was a child my mom had two large hardcover books. Probably a good 400 pages each. They were full of fairy tales she used to read me, Like the ginger bread man, Hansel and Gretel, the kitten who thought he was a mouse, and many more. I don't have any idea the name of the books, but they were white/tan covers, with like a golden trim. I remember them looking very plain for a story book and I think one of them had a picture of little red riding hood on the font. Any idea where I could begin my search for either of theses?
