Why are there no 'miracles' in today's world?

Wow, back around 30 AD, a guy couldn't walk from Bethlehem to Nazareth without trippin' over half a dozen miracles lyin' in the road, blocking his way. Everybody had a favorite miracle, and some kept them on leashes. But today, with video cameras, and intelligent, skeptical observers... nor miracles. I guess 'god' only gives miracles to those who are gullible, credulous, ignorant, and just plain dumb.
